Inthe hustle and bustle of our professional lives, it can be easy to focus solely on deadlines, goals, and deliverables. Yesterday, we had a lovely company holiday party — the second one I’ve been involved in during my five years at this job. It wasn’t so long ago that we were staying at home or social distancing due to Covid, holding virtual meetings and celebrations instead of gathering in person. Now, as we’ve resumed life as we know it, I’m reminded of how much I love events like holiday parties.
