"When the Weight Feels Too Heavy"

This morning, I shed a tear on my way to work.

Not a dramatic sob. Just a quiet tear—the kind you hope no one sees, but that carries the full weight of everything you can’t put into words.

Lately, life has felt… heavy.
Not because of any one big thing, but because of the quiet accumulation of too many small things, too many pressures, too many expectations—stacked high like invisible bricks on my chest. Some of the heaviness is emotional. Some of it’s spiritual. Some of it’s just from trying to keep everything and everyone afloat when you barely feel like you're treading water yourself.

And yet—I showed up today.
Even if I felt invisible.
Even if I didn’t feel strong.
Even if I’m still carrying the weight.

Maybe you're feeling it too.

Maybe you’ve been pushing through your own long days, holding back your own quiet tears, questioning when relief will come—or if anyone even sees how hard you’re trying.

If so, this is for you:

You are not weak for feeling overwhelmed.
You are not alone in your exhaustion.
And you don’t have to have it all figured out to keep going.

Sometimes, the strongest thing you can do is get up anyway.
Sometimes, the holiest thing you can do is breathe.
Sometimes, the most powerful prayer is the one you can’t even speak—just the whispered name of Jesus in your mind, when your voice won’t come.

I don’t have all the answers. I’m still walking through it too.
But I know this: God is still present in the weight.
Even when it feels like silence. Even when your prayers feel like whispers against a storm.
He’s near to the brokenhearted. He gathers your tears. He strengthens you in your weakness.

So if you’re weary today, take this as a reminder:
You are seen.
You are still worthy.
And you are not carrying this alone.

Let’s keep showing up. Not because we have to be perfect, but because we’re still here—still standing, even if it’s shaky.

That, my friend, is courage.
